Amen, brother, amen. It is only by His grace and His mercy that we will be found worthy to stand in His presence, and to dwell with Him in eternity, according to His will. Nothing we can ever do in this life besides to worship, to love Him, to praise Him, and to thank Him for all He's done will ever make us worthy to be in His presence from our side of things. And only His shed Blood makes us entirely worthy to be there as well, for sure, you know.
For all our deeds and words in this life that don't match up with those righteous actions are as filthy rags, according to Paul, I believe, in one of his epistles. No matter what they are, they are as filthy rags for each of us, without question. Even for me, or countless others in this world's history, most definitely.
He alone is perfect. He alone can save humanity because of that fact. We can't even save ourselves from ultimately dying, or leaving this world in some other way. if we don't actually die in time. One day, each of us will leave this world, whether through death or translation.
Just as we never brought anything into this world, when we were each born, we can't take anything with us when we leave it and enter eternity except for our names and our reputations, at least, if nothing else as well. What we each leave behind, if we leave before His return, will surely belong to others, ultimately, you know, if it's anything material of any fungible kind whatsoever.
So let's all try to remember that, and make a real difference in this life for whatever is true and just and righteous and holy and all, as best as we each can. And try to do that so we can all bring glory to our Creator who gave us life and sustains us every day, for our whole lives, to the best of our own human abilities at the present time, as well.
