Hello Everyone!
I'm fairly new to the logo creation process but using all of the great logos from this community over the years has inspired me to teach myself some of the basics. I'd like to post them here to share back with a community that has given so much depth to my leagues over the years. I'm also open for some constructive criticism if any of you have some tips.
*I'm using GIMP and struggling with the fuzzy halo edges a bit still. I'm in the process of learning Inkscape, but just started with it.
*Sometimes my team names can a be a bit abstract. Maybe its because I'm more of a soccer person? Either way, I'm sure I'll have to make some Bears and Lions soon enough.

*Update 11/15/2021: So this thread kept going. Maybe I need to explain what is going on here for some context. In an effort to learn and practice the graphics side of the game I am working on a project to create 435 individual logos for teams across the United States, territories, Native American reservations, and U.S. military bases. I'm building these logos to use in OOTP, FHM, and Football Manager.
The goal is to work fast, create fast, practice skills, and acquire new ones. I'm not working on secondary logos, uniforms, or caps. I'll edit designs that don't work once I'm done. I'm sharing these here in case they happen to be useful to someone else since in the past I've used so many great graphics from this community. I'm not doing any custom work at this point in time.
Right now I'm well over halfway though my goal with
over 225 logos available on my drive. I'm posting the highlights here. I'm appreciative of all of the feedback I've gotten so far. I don't have a graphics art background and am very much learning as I go.
Why 435? That's a pretty random number. Well that's the number of members of the U.S. House of Representatives. I'm roughly making one city for each House member, with the exception of halving the number California. Nobody needs 53 California teams, sorry California. I've distributed those numbers to states with smaller populations, overseas territories, Native reservations, and military bases. The imaginary goal is a very egalitarian distribution with a team representing the most possible Americans across a variety of communities. Even when I play pretend, I guess I try to be fair.
While I'm learning a lot about GIMP and Inkscape, I'm also learning a lot about our great country and all of the diverse communities across the nation and overseas.
