71ST IPA ALL-STAR CLASSIC SET FOR WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON IN WYNNAMAC
Granger Field in Wynnamac will be the gathering place this Wednesday for all the Islandian Pro Alliance elite stars at the 71st IPA All-Star Game... 24 top stars for the visiting Tycobbian Union All-Stars will tangle with 24 standouts for the Ruthlandian Union All-Stars.
The Tycobbian Stars will be led by Teddy Stonich and Jameson Mulbert of the Rolling Hills Racers, who will be making their 10th appearances in the star-studded event... they will be ably assisted by teammate Hugo Sutton and High Mesa's Roy Roberts, who have made the TU All-Stars on 8 occasions.
Ruthlandia will field a younger team, headed up by Lanny Waldrep of the Colfax Black Sox, an 8-time All-Star... most of the All-Stars are first timers... only one rookie was honored this season... left fielder Jon Northrop of the Claxton Diamonds was the only one in the IPA freshman class to make the grade.
The All-Star Classic is totally one-sided... the Tycobbian Union has won 47 games, while the Ruthlandian Union is far behind with only 23 wins.
