Why all the hate for the Dodgers? They do things the right way, including building their team the most-respectable way possible, with a top-notch farm system, smart trades, and crafty pickups of those thought to be lost causes... (Pretty sure during this 9-year run, Mookie Betts is the only marquee free agent they've signed.)
One of the few great, classic stadiums left... The team of legendary broadcaster and good-guy Vin Scully... Very classy players, for the most part. Who cannot like guys like Kershaw, Urias, Buehler, Mookie (who is among the classiest superstars ever, in any sport), Bellinger, both Turners. Good dudes.
Sure, the Bauer signing was a black mark & a mistake. But that's a one-off, and it's not like other teams - the Yankees and BlackStros come to mind - don't have their versions of signing a very questionable character. Thankfully, in LA's case and unlike other teams, they rid themselves of the bad guy as soon as it became abundantly clear who he really was.
I mean, as a Dodger fan, I fan-hate the Giants. But I respect them as an organization. They, too, do things the right way, and have high-character good guys on their team.
