Thank you Lukas. I've long forgot about that tool. I will try it.
The question I have is about history, though. A deleted team still exists -- it simply shows up as inactive. All of its history is maintained. It seems like the purge tool will annihilate that. That's not what I want. I just want a defunct league (read=inactive, not erroneous) to stop showing up in the league drop down menu.
