The St. Louis River Walkers have recalled center fielder Jose Segura from AAA Memphis, where he was on an injury rehab, and sent outfielder Mark Waterson down to the Redbirds.
Segura, 31, has not played with the Walkers since suffering a herniated disc on April 11.
In the season's first four games, Segura batted .333 with an RBI.
During his rehab at Memphis, Segura played in five games hitting .273 with a homer and three RBIs.
Waterson, 23, has split time between AAA and the majors in 2036.
In 19 games with St. Louis, Waterson hitting .163 with three homers and seven RBIs.
