The St. Louis River Walkers that two-time All-Star first baseman Nick Shaw will miss up to four weeks with a fractured rib suffered in a 7-4 win over Grand Rapids on May 22.
Shaw, 27, was batting .299 with five homers and 28 RBIs at the time of the injury.
Getting the callup from AAA is 23-year-old corner infielder Mark Herman.
The No. 3 overall pick in the 2034 draft, Herman has batted .309 with four homers and 22 RBIs in 39 games this season at AAA Memphis.
This isn't the first time in the majors for Herman, 23, he played in four games with the Walkers in 2035, hitting .300 with one RBI.
