Is the reason I am seeing most quality defensive dmen have quite low overall ratings compared to offensive defenseman because of the ratings being weighted heavily by counting stats as opposed to abilities? Am guessing it’s the case but just wanted to check that AI coaches don’t make their lineup decisions based on a players star rating as opposed to their actual abilities. And also wondered how much it affects their trade value.
Similarly is the reason why Kucherov has such a low rating in my save because he didn’t play last season and the calculation is trying to weight in that he didn’t produce anything last season due to not playing?
