Walkers news: June 1 -- St. Louis 5, Quad City 3

Record: 33-19, 1st, 5.5 GA Cedar Rapids
Down 1-0, St. Louis scored a pair of runs in the third inning and three more in the fourth and held on to defeat Quad City 5-3 at Busch Stadium (2006).
The River Walkers won the final two games of their three-game series against the Thunder.
Rookie Mark Herman drove in both third-inning runs with a two-out single off QC starting pitcher Antonio Ceja.
A pair of errors by the Thunder played into St. Louis' outburst in the fourth.
Ceja committed the first error on a ball hit by pitcher Josh McDonald.
The first error came by Thunder third baseman Paul Totten on a ball hit by Abdul-Nasser bin Amr, allowing him to reach with one out.
After a walk to Jose Segura, pitcher Josh McDonald reached on an error by QC starting pitcher Antonio Ceja, with bin Amr scoring on the play.
Bob Saavedra followed with a single to score Segura.
Marcos Francis made it 5-1 with a deep fly ball to right, with McDonald crossing the plate.
McDonald (6-2) lasted 5.1 innings, allowing three runs on six hits.
Greg Sones worked 2.2 innings, keeping the score at 5-3.
Bobby Westerman posted his first save of the season with a scoreless ninth.
