Fri 27 July – The Slog 8 at Easy Town 7
The Ghouls scored the last five runs of the game, including three in the top of the 9th, ruining Aaron Geneva's (4-2, 3 BS) CBO-leading 26th save attempt. Lernz Tentsleep's 16th homer, a three-run shot off Geneva, proved to be the game-winner. The Slog kept their playoff hopes alive, pulling within three games of Salem in the Brotherhood League and NCA wildcard chase.
Sat 28 July – The Slog 2 at Easy Town 6, 13 inn.
The Assaultrons scored the game-tying run in the 9th, ruining Flotsam DiPasquale's (4 BS) save attempt, when rookie Lannie Tykeson went deep for the 18th time this season. Then, in the bottom of the 13th, C Tim Phelps (13 HR) went deep off Matt Suds (4-1) for the walk-off grand slam.
Sun 22 July - The Slog 6 at Easy Town 7
Getting offensive support from Carlos Tophat, the Easy Town Assaultrons topped the The Slog Ghouls, 7-6. Tophat was 1 for 2 with a triple and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Assaultrons. The winning pitcher was Angel Waterdrink. He's now 11-7. He went 8 innings, allowing 4 runs on 11 hits for the Assaultrons. The win elevated the Assaultrons to 48-35 and solidly in the 3rd seed heading into August.
