The Frank Talcott whom stlcardsfan posted with the Red Sox above was also a phantom major leaguer with both the Tigers and the Phillies in 1919. He had been a star hurler at Yale University. He never pitched in the minors, because he kept returning to a nicely-paying job in the chemical industry in New Jersey when his major league hopes didn't work out.
