The Dodgers are champions again, and Mr. 21st-Century October has done it again as Randy Arozarena homered for the 4th straight game in the series to supply the only two runs tonight in a 2-0 Dodgers win. And it just wasn't any old homer - it was an inside-the-parker, the first homer of that type in a World Series since Alcides Escobar in 2015 and only the second since 1929.
An interesting side note: In my main 2020 Rays save, the Dodgers won the Series in 2022, the Rays in 2023 and the Dodgers again in 2024, which is exactly what's happened in this save. It'll be interesting to see what happens IRL next year.
