So, while it has been nice seeing things unfold day-by-day, the purpose of this exercise is more of an overall one. So I will finish this 1962 season on a daily basis but then pull back to a monthly report for the next 5 to speed things up a bit.
After season 7, IE 1967, there will be the first of two planned realignments. I'll revert to a daily report for the first season of the new structure to familiarise everyone with it, then go back to monthly again for 5 or maybe even 6.
The second realignment occurs in 1975 and will see us through until the planned finish of the league after 21 seasons in 1981. By this time we should be getting into the really meaty part of things so I think I'll go back to daily reports to see it unfold at close quarters. Loads of milestones and contests for all-time leadership across the stat categories should make this really interesting.
At the end I will be doing a deep dive into the results to see what can be gleaned.
This league seems to have quite a following, so if there's anything any of you along for the ride would like to see, don't hesitate to post about it.
