Starting Pitcher of the Month: Edward Kunselman: The 32-year-old right-hander improved to 9-0 on the season by going 3-0 in his five starts with a 1.97 ERA. He struck out 26 batters in 32 innings, and had a 1.06 WHIP.
Relief Pitcher of the Month: Ron Cox: The 24-year-old rookie left-hander got into 12 games and went 1-0 with a 0.66 ERA. He struck out 14 batters in 13.2 innings and had a 0.88 WHIP.
