Congratulations, cinemaodyssey, for another great find of a missing player. This is really a double find, as George Miller was also a missing major league umpire. He umped 9 games in the National League in 1879. He also had the distinction of being the catcher for the first southpaw to throw a curve ball in the majors -- Bobby Mitchell. That was back in 1877 with the Cincinnati Reds according to newspapers at the time of Miller's death.
