Plenty of subtext here with Train’s first meeting against the club with which he has so much history. They proved what a tight unit they are with a withering stretch run that saw them swoop from the clouds with a 15-8 finish. They might lack our power, but in Jackson, Chapman, Devore, Fournier et al, they have a bunch of guys who hit a bunch and three 20-game winners in a really solid rotation led by Cicotte and Redding.
We’ll need to be at our absolute best to get past them, especially with them having the home-field advantage.
