Want to add my thanks to Chickazoola and Dto7 for their findings of photos and info about Johnny C. O'Connor, as well as to Cinemaodyssey for questioning the FacePack photo in the first place. I believe the existing FacePack photo, which is also the one used for O'Connor on baseball-reference.com, came from Marc Okkonen's book, 2000 CUPS OF COFFEE. Marc had a question about whether it was a valid photo of O'Connor, but he didn't have the benefit of the on-line newspaper archives that we have today. Even with those archives, it takes a great deal of skill and dedication to dig up photos of an obscure guy with a common name like O'Connor, and I commend those who undertook this effort.
