Darling: A New Jersey high-school SS with pop in his bat. It remains to be seen if he can stay at the position but hopefully his bat will play elsewhere on the diamond.
Carver: A Virginia high-school SP who either has ace potential (OSA) or back-of-the-rotation potential (Metzler). He's 6'6" but right now he throws 93-95 so he has a wide range of outcomes.
Vargas: A college closer who throws 99-101 with 80 potential stuff out of Texas Tech, the kind of guy who could be in the big league mix in a year or two.
Woolard: A "crafty" lefty out of high school in Texas who throws around 90 but has the command of an older pitcher. His margin for error is very thin but he could be interesting.
Sanchez: A speedy CF out of a Chicago high school who has some decent pop in his bat despite his 165-lb frame. I'm intrigued by this one.
Tredinnick: A JuCo lefty from Santa Barbara, he can throw hard and could be a decent sleeper.
Rice: High-school CF from Arizona who profiles as a .280, 10-HR type but with plus-plus speed and potentially above-average defense who we're probably not going to sign.
