Walkers news: Sept. 10 -- St. Louis 8, Rockford 3

Tied 1-1, Abdul-Nasser bin Amr hit a three-run home run in the top of the fourth inning and St. Louis went on to defeat Rockford 8-3 to complete a three-game sweep at RFK Stadium (2005).
Bin Amr's fifth homer of the season came off Lightning starting pitcher Rich Nelson.
It scored Manuel Coke, who had led off the inning with a single, and Jose Segura, who had drawn a two-out walk.
It's lead now 4-2, the River Walkers added two runs in the sixth.
Jackson Miller drove them both in with a single off Josh Forgy.
Rookie Mark Waterson tripled off Franciso Claros as a pinch hitter in the eighth and scored on a Marcos Francis ground out to make it 7-2.
Eddie Estrella hit a solo homer off Ryan Wimbushin the ninth to make it 8-3.
St. Louis starting pitcher Edward Kunselman (10-3) allowed two runs on nine hits over six innings. He struck out four and didn't issue a walk.
Greg Sones worked a silent seventh.
Alex Salinas (0.1 IP) was responsible for Rockford's final run in the eighth.
Ron Cox (0.2) retired two in a row in that inning to limit the damage.
Armando Cintron took care of the ninth.
