Goalie Terry Ross stepped up his game in the month of December and the Avs have two of the best Goalies in the game in spite of neither of them having that reputation. Of course, much of the credit is likely due to the great defencemen corps and good overall 2-way play of the team.

Milo Holland is certainly proving to be capable on both sides of the ice and is having a fine season thus far.
The Avs remain one of the best teams in the league as the calendar flips to 2023. Here are the current standings:

Josh Hishon was recently named most underrated player in the Player Poll.
Hishon hasn't been playing well recently but all development signs are positive and he should have a bright future with the club.

As you can see, the Avs did pick up the goal-scoring pace a bit this past month and also solidified the PK approach, though our PP performance remains below par.

Luke Bosum is tied for the team lead in goals with 14 and is 3rd on the team in points with 26. This goal total, in just 40 games, surpasses his best single season total which was 12 in 2020-2021 with the Montreal Canadiens, when he played in 81 games.
