Analysis
There was a bit of a shakeup at the top this week, with every spot in the Top 5 being a different one this week.
The University Point Deathclaws enters the first weekend of May with the #1 spot after a 5-0 week. The Claws started the week with a two-game sweep of previously #1 Vault 81 (#9) and then holding serve over Warwick (#24) in three straight. On top of everything, University Point pitching allowed just nine runs in those five games, holding opponents to one run three times.
Diamond City is #2 in a 4-1 week, with their only loss coming yesterday. The Swatters knocked down the Mirelurks in the first two before winning 2 of 3 at Egret (#22).
Nordhagen Beach is atop the NCA and #3 in the Power Rankings. The Party Boys went 3-2 with a split at Concord (#4) and then winning 2 of 3 versus The Slog (#18), with the sole loss being a 14-inning affair.
The Radstags were also 3-2 on the week with that split versus Nordhagen Beach and then a 2-1 series win over Lexington (#19). The first two games of that series saw Concord winning 8-0 and 1-0 over the Synths.
Salem completes the Top 5 at #5. The Witch Hats won both games over Starlight (#15) but then lost 2 of 3 at home versus County Crossing (#17). Despite those two losses, the Hats have been tied with the Stags for the best two teams in the NCA over the last two weeks, each at 7-3.

Players of the Week
NL Player of the Week Goes to DaWell of Rocky Narrows: This week Baktu DaWell, left fielder for the Rocky Narrows Radscorpions, slashed, mashed and bashed his way to the North League Player of the Week trophy.
DaWell put up a .600 average as he pounded out 6 hits, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs.
South Boston's Tad Snaps Up Player of the Week: There was no one hotter in the South League last week as Amis Tad attacked enemy pitching with a vengeance to collect the Player of the Week Award.
The 20-year-old South Boston second baseman batted .800 with 8 hits in 10 at-bats, no home runs and 2 RBIs.
Prospects to Watch
SS Rabbit Forest, Medford Medics (Atom) - #8 Prospect - The second-year player drafted 3rd overall by the Cats in 2299, Forest has been thriving in the GBRL. Hitting .404/.500/.673, Forest looks more like a power hitter than the contact hitter he is scouted to be. He has 4 home runs and 11 RBI for the 1st-place Medics in the Northwest Division.
SP Odd Thomas Koontz, Walden Pond Poets (Nordhagen Beach) - #33 Prospect - Koontz has started three games for the Poets and has gone 3-0 with a 0.67 ERA. In 27.0 innings he has allowed 14 hits and two earned runs, walked five, and struck out 37.
LF Delmarva Illeracula, Lyn Woods Bloatflies (County Crossing) - #37 Prospect - Illeracula has been on fire to start the 2301 season. The 5th-overall draft pick by the Warwick Mirelurks in 2299, Illeracula is thriving in his second year. He has hit .411 with a home run and 11 RBI.
SP Godot Beckett, Beantown Brewers (Egret) - #52 Prospect - Beckett has been among the most successful GBRL pitchers in 2301. Beckett is 3-1 with a 1.44 ERA in four starts. A former 2nd-round pick, #47 overall, by Diamond City in the 2299 draft, Beckett can only go up if he increases his pitching repertoire.
