Season 1 (1987)

The inaugural season was dominated by the team from the 1800s who led the league wire to wire en route to their first championship of the All Decades League. Their success was due in large part to the offense provided by the MVP of the league, Dan Brouthers and the elite pitching of the Cy Young Award winner, Terry Larkin. Larkin posted a pitching Triple Crown leading the league in Wins, ERA, and Strikeouts.

*Recognized that an odd number of teams caused an issue with scheduling 162 games. Split up the dominant 1800s team into two teams: Pre1890s & 1890s.
