I can second the not tracking to the point observation.

Many times I've watched a goalie line up facing the faceoff circle, only to have the other team win the draw, play it back to the point and execute a quick cross ice pass to the other blueliner.

The blueliner on the far side then proceeds to shoot and scores into a near empty net because the goalie hasn't moved since the draw.

The whole process only takes a second or two, but I'd rather have the goalie make a wild dive and miss, instead of just standing still the whole time. Makes for very poor optics.
