World Series MVP: Ruben Gonzalez, who didn’t start until Game 5, but then hit .500 with a homer and an RBI.
That’s probably gonna drive up his arbitration price, huh?
Apart from that I do not know, nor will I ever know, how that team performance – not even our top three relievers were remotely up to snuff! – sufficed to take home the trophy, but I’ll be damned if I don’t lift it up and jump around with it screaming like an idiot like the next guy in line!
Who needs pitching? Next year we’ll save in that regard and put more money into better booze!
