Players of the Week

North Charles Association Honors Nordhagen Beach's Nut: Pitcher Beachboy Nut of the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys was the top-rated player in the league last week and was voted the NCA Player of the Week.

During the week the 23-year-old Nut registered a 2-0 record with 15 strikeouts, 1 walk in 18 innings and a 0.50 ERA.

Nut has made 17 starts, tossed 138 innings, struck out 131 batters and walked 27. His record is 11-1 with a 1.96 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .202 batting average.

Hayjen on the Attack, Player of the Week: Aesed Hayjen is respected by most Vault 81 Dwellers fans for his no-frills style of play. The 23-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the South Charles Association Player of the Week honors.

He compiled a .474 average (9-for-19) with 4 home runs, 6 RBIs and 10 runs scored.

Hayjen currently has a .343 batting average with 85 hits, 22 homers, 57 RBIs, 65 runs scored and a .437 OBP.

CA Awards Player of the Week Trophy: 24-year-old Man Chee made a few Taffington Boathouse headlines during this past week as the rookie second baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Commonwealth Association officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort.

He cracked 7 hits in 13 at-bats to put up a .538 average. Chee collected 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 3 runs.

This season Chee is swinging the bat at a .283 pace. He has hit 6 home runs and scored 20 times, while driving in 30. His on-base percentage is .372 and he has played in 39 games.

MA Premier Player Picked: His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Jared Pterror was rewarded with the Massachusetts Association Player of the Week honors.

The scrappy Forest Grove Pugilists first baseman hit .583 while collecting 7 hits in 12 at-bats, 3 home runs and 6 RBIs.

Posting a .335 batting average to date, Pterror has 23 home runs and 58 RBIs.

The Outpost Zimonja Strongbacks first baseman peppered the opposition with 5 hits in 12 at-bats, 5 home runs, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. In the last 3 games he hit .417 with an on-base percentage of .462.

In his season totals Lovetap has 14 home runs and a .174 batting average.

South Boston's Goldstein SL Star of the Week: Him Goldstein of the South Boston Patriots had a fantastic week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the South League.
