Off to a good start...
Brad Jackson was dominant and the Rays got a couple of big homers to take an easy 7-0 win over Seattle in their ALDS opener. Josh Beckett is the most interesting power hitter in the world as he doesn't homer often but when does it's usually a big one. And today's 2-run shot in the 2nd off a lefty to dead center was a big one, getting the Rays on the board before Doug Johns broke it open with a 3-run shot in the 5th. Johns later singled in a run to give him a 4-ribbie day. 20-game winner Johnny Soland will try to give the Rays a commanding 2-0 lead tomorrow.
