The St. Louis River Walkers have called 24-year-old outfield Mark Waterson from AAA Memphis.
The trade of Bill Pena to Ann Arbor opened the door for Waterson's promotion.
It is believed Waterson may get a shot to earn the starting center field job from the struggling Jose Segura.
In 36 games this season at AAA, Waterson has hit .272 with six homers and 23 RBIs.
Waterson has played in the majors before getting brief callup in 2035 and 2036.
In 51 games with the Walkers, Waterson has hit .183 with five homers and 11 RBIs.
