Swatters Clip Gunners, 5-4
The Diamond City Swatters defeated the Quincy Gunners, 5-4, at The Stone House. Diamond City third baseman Allen Bishop had a superb performance. He went 4-6 with 4 singles and 2 walks. With the win, Diamond City raised its record to 40-29.

It could have been a different outcome for Diamond City, had it not been for Jason Watts, the 22-year old catcher . Watts contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 20th inning to put Diamond City up, 5-4.

"I felt good up there," said Watts. "I saw the ball well."
