The St. Louis River Walkers have recalled shortstop Abdul-Nasser bin Amr from AAA Memphis, where he was on an injury rehab assignment and sent infielder Rich Dodson back to the Redbirds.
bin Amr last played with the Walkers on April 28, when he suffered an oblique strain.
He was batting .218 with two homers and 10 RBIs through 21 games at the time of the injury.
In five games at Memphis, bin Amr hit .550 with two homers and six RBIs.
Dodson, 25, got into 13 games while in St. Louis batting .333 with four RBIs.
