Walkers news: May 27 -- St. Louis 4, Louisville 1

Record: 28-20, 1st, 2.5 GA Springfield
Ming Xiang allowed one run over the first seven innings and St. Louis put up three late runs to defeat Louisville 4-1 at Dodger Stadium.
A free-agent signing in the offseason, Xiang improved to 5-1 by allowing one run on four hits over seven innings.
He struck out six and walked three.
The lone run Xiang allowed came in the bottom of the first after Chris Zoltan led off with a triple and scored on a Dan Boyle single.
The River Walkers tied it in the top of the second when Mark Herman hit a solo homer off Sluggers starting pitcher Victor Mendez.
It remained tied until the top of the seventh when St. Louis broke through against Louisville reliever Brad Tonks.
Herman scored his second run of the game after he led off with a single.
A passed ball moved him to scored.
Jackson Miller drove Herman in with a single.
Abdul-Nasser bin Amr added two insurance runs with a two-run homer in the top of the ninth off Clyde Rayner.
After Xiang left the game, Brett McVey pitched a scoreless eighth for St. Louis.
