Undoubtedly the best-known of all NeL players.

It almost goes without saying that Satchel's career path was utterly unique with his late association with Bill Veeck and entry into the MLB with the Browns at an advanced age. This is impossible to recreate, so I have had to ignore it. What I have done by way of a form of compensation is to start his CURR statistical data high and top his POT out way higher than most other players - at roughly 125%. Hopefully this reflects his status as a "late bloomer" and durability and productivity well into his middle age.

Satch was wild early, and this is reflected in his low CONTROL rating to begin with.
