A teaser: I am probably a month or so away from publishing a set of players from the late 1800s through 1910. It covers everyone from the stars (Frank Grant and HR Johnson are probably the best of them) down to players who are probably lifelong minor leaguers.
My guess is it will be a supporting set of data for this list, but of interest to a similar audience.
I'll weigh in on these projections as they overlap with folks I have done in some sort of final form, if desired.
