Martin Dihigo
This guy should be one of the best, but the game never seems to figure out what to do with him. This is the 3rd time I've run some sort of replay with him in it, and most of the time he's a mediocre pitcher and nothing else.
Here he doesn't get to play much in the early part of his career, then misses a bunch of seasons because I had "Missed Season IRL" check box on. So he had a very average career as a batter. As a pitcher he had two double-digit win season, but a life ERA+ below 100. Very mediocre for someone who Mel Ott (or someone else?) called the "best player he ever played against".
