I didn't notice McBourbon got hurt. Hell, I didn't notice he got the call up to The Slog, either. Looking at him made me realize that I have some strangeness happening since moving to OOTP 22. Lots of SP are getting relief appearances, so I went into the settings and turned off allowing SP to appear in relief. People like Sheng Kawolski should not lose a start because he pitched 0.1 innings in relief in a blowout.

There's definitely some pitching engine differences, but since I converted on launch day I don't quite recall what the old version was like and I'm "used" to the new version so to speak. I will say 22 seems to enjoy having a 6 pitcher SP rotation early season and then after about a month drops it back to 5, if you leave the AI to their own devices. I know this is kind of how the modern game is trending, but 21 didn't have the rotiation auto-set like that for me. Dunno how that would work out with your different season length. It does kinda shuffle who's SP and RP though, but honestly I haven't payed much attention because for the majority of the time in 22 I was playing as the Orioles and we were just going to suck no matter what happened so I just kinda let it happen
