Twin Cities scored four runs while batting around in the first inning against St. Louis starting pitcher Jesse McNaboe and the Snow Cats went on to rout the River Walkers 8-1 at Target Field (2010).
After Shane King flew out to open the bottom of the first inning, the Cats banged out five consecutive hits -- including four doubles by Pete Johnson, Daniel Sanabria, Jeff Waddell and Victor Machado, Mike Saratain -- to scoe four runs.
Sanabria, Waddell and Machado all drove in runs with their doubles. A single by Mike Saratain scored Johnson's with the game's first run.
The Cats added another run in the second on a two-out triple by Sanabria. It scored Saratain, who had singled with one out.
Twin Cities also got an impressive start from Travis Mayr who allowed just two hits, both doubles by Nick Shaw, over 6.1 scoreless innings.
Ruben Lopez finished the seventh for Twin Cities and set St. Louis down in order in the eighth.
The Walkers did manage a meaningless run in the ninth.
The Cats tallied three runs in the bottom of the eighth against the Walkers' bullpen.
Bill Walter drove in two of the runs with a single off Brett McVey.
An RBI single from pinch-hitter Jonathan Knapp made it 8-0.
