Thanks for the feedback. I'm still not sure I'm clear on the process, though.
Let me use my current park as an example. I'm in the middle of a season, but I think at the start of the season it shows the Ballpark Name in the editor as Robison Field with a years range in parenthesis (I'm assuming it's 1893-1919 because I see a .prk file called
robison_field_1893-1919.prk in my data\ballparks directory.
The first thing I do is change the Ballpark Name for each field in the league to remove the years. Next I move the fielders around when I see that park in a game (I don't know how to do it otherwise).
Are you saying that at this point I should export the renamed park with repositioned fielders using the
Export this park's data to a file option? If I then copy it back to my ballparks folder how do I keep the game from automatically overwriting it next season with file with the years in parentheses, requiring me to repeat the process?
