Grape Wins it All: The Grape Painted Ghouls pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the Nuka Series in a hard-fought series with the Orange Tourists.
It was a seesaw affair, but with a 7-6 victory at Fizztop Mountain Park at Nuka-Town USA, Grape lay claim to the franchise's 1st championship.
"There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Ham Porter. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today."
The champs finished the regular season 46-38 and claimed second place in the Nuka World League.
A victory parade is set to be schedule in Grape in the days to come.

Quantum B Wins Nuka B Series!: It was all about winning for the Quantum B Nukalurks -- and win they did.
There was nothing fancy in how they went about it, players said, they just prepared mentally and physically and then went out and played baseball.
"We did the little things right and we did the big things right," said left fielder Kell Leek, who was named series MVP. "Now we're the league champions."
Quantum B defeated the Grape B Painted Ghouls by a score of 1-0 at World of Refreshment Field to take the series 3-2.
"Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you make your own luck," said Quantum B manager Cop Diaz. "We got lucky a few times, but mostly we did the right things by being prepared for each game and playing the game the way it's meant to be played."
