Season 10 (1996)
For the first time, two teams from the Modern League squared off for the All Decades League championship. The 1990s led the league with 102 wins while finishing atop the Modern League for the first time. They continued their winning ways into the 1996 World Series and defeated the 1970s 6-5 in game 6 to win their first league championship.
Sam Crawford (1900s) became the first member of the 500 HR club with a solo shot to RF off of Vida Blue on August 26, 1996. Crawford also reached his 2,000th career hit in grand fashion with a 1st inning grand slam off of Robbie Ray.

Richard threw a complete game while striking out 9 batters leading the 1970s to a 10-2 victory.
