Trailing 3-2 in the top of the eighth inning, St. Louis scored a pair of runs and held on to defeat Des Moines 4-3 at Green Canyon Park.
Nick Shaw led off the inning with a double off Harvesters relief pitcher Mark Polzin.
Abdul-Nasser bin Amr scored Shaw with a one-out double.
Marcos Francis put the River Walkers in front with a two-out single to score bin Amr.
Both team scored twice in the second inning.
Jackson Miller hit a two-run homer for the Walkers off Des Moines starting pitcher Lenyn Crisp.
Crisp spent the minor-league portion of his career with the Walkers.
In the bottom of the second, Corey Jordan tripled off St. Louis starter Xavier Wigfall to score a run.
The next batter, Zigza Mukuru, scored Jordan with a single.
The Harvesters took the lead an inning later when David Tapley doubled to score Hector Hidalgo who had led off with a single.
Wigfall went six innings, allowing three runs on four hits. He struck out eight and walked three.
Scott Rissler (5-4) earned the win after pitching a 1-2-3 seventh inning.
Greg Sones handled the eighth without allowing a run.
A perfect ninth earned Bobby Westerman his 20th save.
