After a flurry of trades to acquire an arsenal of promising young players, it was hard to decipher how the Petes would perform. After the 7 game preseason, the team went 3-4 and exceeded their own expectations. Three of the four leading scorers in the league were members of the Petes, with 16-year-old Quentin Musty leading the way. Additionally, backup goalie Liam Sztuska managed to win all three games he started and had a 1.31 GAA and will be promoted to starting goalie for opening night.
