Last year, the Braves celebrated 150 years of existence in three locations, it seems to me, starting in 1871. So it is not unusual to call the 101st season of a franchise's existence a Centennial season for that franchise, if so, for example.
By that logic, then, the 80th Anniversary season would be the 1981 season, with 80 seasons then in the books already from 1901 to 1980. Which would probably be the best time for the realignment plan to be instituted as needed and desired and all. Several teams could use some updates for their items, I think, while others can certainly stay as they would be by that time, no doubt.
In any case, I need names for areas and/or bodies of water, et cetera, to put on the relevant map or maps and all, for sure. I need to know roughly at what latitude you basically want New Yerby to be put at, more or less, among other things related to the map or maps here as well, jg2977. Once I know more than I currently do about your wishes for the map or maps in question, then I can work more on them, of course. Just so you know this here well enough. CD out.

You can put the nations/cities at what latitude you feel is best, it doesn't matter much to me. Perhaps the northern cities can be in a colder-weather climate much like the USA, especially in the winter, and the southern cities can be in warm-weather.
I don't have any preference as what to name any bodies of water either, just come up with something that suits my IPA well. The map is something that would be nice to have, but I'm not going to put a lot of thought into it because it's not an absolute necessity to me. If that's something that you want to do, that's great. But do it because you enjoy it. My enjoyment comes from playing OOTP.
I'm basically giving you free-will here, and giving you the liberty to use your imagination. Thank you for your efforts.
I've decided to keep the 10 teams in each division format, and have a few teams switch divisions or leagues in 1981. It's easiest to just keep it simple. Also, I will just keep the same division names, because it's easier to tell what teams are in each region simply by referring to the division names, and not names of former players. (I think that's a reason why the NHL got rid of the Adams, Patrick, Norris and Smythe divisions and went to regional names.)
Perhaps I can name the best pitcher award after one of the pitchers who had Hall of Fame careers in the early years of my IPA, and the same with the MVP as well.
