Bloodbugs Cruise to Association Championship with Sweep
The County Crossing Bloodbugs made it look easy and are heading to the Association Championship.
They have ousted the Concord Radstags in a sweep, the final win coming by a 6-5 score, clinching the 3-0 series win.
"Everything's clicking for us right now," said Cy Thompson, who was named MVP for the series.
Thompson hit .385 with a .385 on-base percentage. He added 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 4 runs.
The County Crossing Bloodbugs don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys - Fort Hagen Silver Shroud series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The Association Championship schedule will be announced after the Association Semifinal finishes.
