As I'm sure you're just now seeing (or are about to see), our good pal Kris Jardine is departing OOTP as the Director of Live Content Services with OOTP at the end of the month (you can view his announcement tweet here:

However, there's something I'd like to announce as well. I’d like to formally announce that, beginning April 1, I will officially be joining Out of the Park Developments part-time/freelancing as the “Perfect Team Hype Man” (yes, that is my actual title).
With that, I will be taking on some, not all, of Kris’ responsibilities, mainly taking over hosting the This Week in Perfect Team stream on the official OOTP Developments channel, helping hype up Perfect Team (as much as I can), and running other different Perfect Team-related streams. That includes bringing the Perfect Team Weekly Showdown tournament back to the OOTP Developments Twitch channel for Out of the Park Baseball 23 and Perfect Team 23, as well as bringing some fun and exciting ideas and concepts that you’ll learn about in due time. 😉
It's exciting for me to join up with the Perfect Team team, but I also know I have some big freaking shoes to fill. I’d like to thank Kris for the last four years of guiding Perfect Team to what it is today. He has been the main driver of the success of this game mode since darn near the inception of this game, and I hope that myself, and everyone else on the team helping to finalize the content plan for the year, can carry on his legacy to the fullest, and possibly create an even better legacy for this game mode.
I also hope to have as smooth a transition as possible into this role, and I ask that you please be patient with me as I settle into this new role.
My first stream as an OOTP employee will more than likely be the PT23 reveal stream, which will happen…sometime. You’ll see. All I can say right now is that this year’s Perfect Team may just blow all the previous Perfect Teams out of the water. 😊 I can’t wait to share with you all what new features will be coming to PT this year when the time comes, and there will be quite a few (with hopefully a few teasers beforehand).
I’m looking forward to helping shepherd in a new era of Perfect Team for everybody, and I hope everyone is looking forward to the next installment in Out of the Park Baseball! It might just be our best one yet!
