Walkers news: May 2 -- St. Louis 3, Dayton 2

Record: 16-9, 3rd, 2.5 GB Springfield
Tied 2-2, Manuel Coke hit a two-out home run in the bottom of the eighth inning off Dayton relief pitcher Clyde Rayner to help lift the St. Louis to a 3-2 win at Busch Stadium (2006).
The victory gave the River Walkers a sweep of the four-game series.
Coke's fifth home run of the season came on a 2-1 pitch. It traveled 392 feet over the right-field wall.
The Pilots had tied it in the top of the seventh.
River Walkers starting pitcher Miguel Cisenros walked Bobby Carrasco to open the inning and Alex Richards followed with a double.
Bobby Westerman relieved Cisneros.
He struck out Luis Aguilar for the first out but hit Mike Casebolt to load the bases.
Carlos Longoria then connected on a fly ball deep enough to center to score Carrasco and tie the game.
Cisneros went six innings, allowing two runs on five hits. He struck out four and walked one.
Westerman pitched the one inning.
Brett McVey and Keith Kirby combined to pitch the eighth inning, holding Dayton scoreless.
Kirby (3-0) would net the win.
Fritzler increased his save total to eight.
