Stretching back to the stretch run of the 1985 season, Chicago's dynamic young superstar shortstop Pat Thompson has extended his consecutive game hit streak to 30 games. This is the longest such streak since Denver Brewer Antonio Acuna hit in 35 straight during the 1980 season.
