Walkers news: June 29 -- Waterson returns from elbow injury; He returns to AAA Memphis
The St. Louis River Walkers have recalled 25-year-old outfielder Mark Waterson from AAA Memphis where he had been on an injury rehab and sent 27-year-old outfielder Wen He back to the Redbirds.
Waterson has been out since June 19 when he suffered an elbow injury.
For St. Louis, Waterson has hit .230 with 15 homers and 30 RBIs in 50 games this season.
During his six-game rehab with the Redbirds, Waterson hit .192 with one homer and three RBIs in six games.
He has played in 54 games (31 starts) for St. Louis this season and batted .216 with one homer and eight RBIs.
