Walkers news: July 19 -- Quad City 5, St. Louis 0

Antonio Ceja handled the first six innings, and the Quad City bullpen did the rest as the Thunder shutout St. Louis 5-0 in both teams' first game after the All-Star break at Fenway Park (1976).
Ceja (4-6) scattered five hits (four singles and a double) during his time on the mound. He struck out five and walked one.
Mike Koontz pitched a pair of innings of scoreless relief.
Angelo Touliatos followed suit in the ninth.
Quad City jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a pair of runs off River Walkers starting pitcher Ming Xiang in the bottom of the second.
Jacob Gonzalez led off with a single and moved to second on a wild pitch.
Gonzalez scored on a two-out single by Gabriel Hagan, with Gonzalez taking second on the throw to the plate.
Bruce Navarette made it 2-0 with the third single of the inning.
The Thunder did the rest of their scoring in the bottom of the eighth against the St. Louis bullpen.
QC wrapped out four hits (all singles) in the inning and also drew two walks.
Navarette drove in the first run with a single off Alex Rios.
Jesse Gaither walked Collin Allen with the bases loaded to make it 5-0.
