See, that's the other part of "Blasphamy". I'm a vehement PC gamer. But I've got a Switch now for pokemon as pokemon is doing amazing, and I figure I should make my library worthwhile for the device. The thing is, I absolutely suck at any kind of gameplay using a controller. I'm just plain bad. But that said, so far, any failings of the experience with The Show are purely because of that, me being bad with a controller. The game itself is decent, the UI could be better, but it suffices, and it's a nice change of gameplay I don't feel detracts from also playing OOTP. The controls themselves are responsive and about as good a layout as you could hope for, with a few different choices of how to set it up, again, I'm just bad at gaming with my thumbs. Hell, I keep saying that, but it's been 4 days and by now really the only problem my created character trying to rise through the minors is having is plate discipline, and I can't blame the controls for the fact that I swing at every pitch.

Other than that, the game does seem to have some slowdown at times, I figure because the Switch is less powerful than other systems, but it's not enough to really make me complain, and it's not during gameplay, it's more like during the post-game celebrations in the dugout with the closeups of all the players close in to each other really taxing the GPU.

Just so you all can laugh, I've played 40 games, and I have 1, count 'em 1, walk.
