The Rays took advantage of sloppy baseball from Detroit, which committed 4 errors and issued 7 walks, to rout the Tigers 11-1 and even the ALCS at a game apiece.
JT Ginn was excellent, a far cry from his disastrous start in Boston in the ALDS, and will need to be again in a Game 6 unless one of these teams wins three straight from here. It was a balanced offensive attack, and unlike last night they kept scoring after putting up a big first inning.
James Hays will try to give them the advantage in two days' time at Comerica.
