Adding one team legend to each team to see if they can win a cup.

Hello! This is a series I'm hoping to be starting a sort of personal experiment. The rules are as follows.

- Opening Night starting rosters
- Player is imported from the historical players database without editing
- No active players will be added
- Player added is based on my own discretion and team needs
- Year will be their best (in my opinion) statistical year
- Sim will be month by month with no interference from me
- Each player will have a NMC to prevent them from being traded, and a league minimum cap hit to ensure the team stays otherwise intact

For the first team, we'll be adding Olaf Kolzig to the Washington Capitals. He is being imported from his 1997-98 season, during which he put up a career high .920 save percentage and an incredible playoff performance.

There were a number of players I could have gone with that are arguably more of "legends" than Kolzig such as Hunter or Gonchar, but Kolzig fills a large team need in goal.
